The Dimension 20 Interlude

I know that this is not a television show in the traditional sense, but I have spent years watching their content and it's my page so deal lmao.

What is Dimension 20?

Dimension 20 is a table-top RPG show created by Dropout's Brennan Lee Mulligan. Usually, Brennan will play the role of Game Master, establishing setting, playing as every NPC, and running battles with beautiful sets and minis made by Rick Perry and the amazing art team.

The cast is hilarious, made up of improv comedians of different backgrounds, even having seasons entirely comprised of world-famous drag queens and pro-wrestlers. The entire team is endlessly creative and watching their budget and audience increase over almost a decade has been a privilege.

Almost every season of Dimension 20 is on dropout.tv for $6.99 with the first episode complimentary on YouTube. It's well worth it in my eyes, especially with all the other wonderfully creative shows that the company puts out.



Mentopolis:

This season surrounds 6 detectives inside of a human brain, that of Elias Hodge, where concepts become people. There has been a murder, and these detecrives must race against time and opposing forces to uncover what is going on and maybe even save Elias, himself.

This season is not a traditional Dungeons and Dragons game, instead using a modified version of the Kids with Bikes system. The cast is hilarious, with a bunch of players that are new to the system so it is easy to pick up for new viewers. The lighting and the general ambiance created is different from past seasons in a very compelling way. The show is hilarious, as always, but the noir vibe helps to immerse the audience in a way not typically seen in TTRPGs.
